How to use this FLV Movie Editor easily?

Download the FLV Movie Editor. Before the installation, it is recommended to close all other applications before installing the program. To install this program, just double click to run the wizard. And then you can follow the instructions to install.


Add FLV

There are three ways for you to add FLV files, for example, you can use the Add FLV buttons on the top tool bar to add FLV files from your computer, media library and Internet Explorer cache.

Edit FLV Files

1. Add Metadata
You can add your own metadata information to the file on Timeline by clicking “”.
With the button "", you can delete the information you just added with "".

2. Join FLV
Drag the desired FLV files to the Timeline and arrange the order. You can enable the snap button , and drag the edge of a clip close to the edge of another clip.

3. Replace Audio
Once an FLV file is dragged onto the Timeline, you can select and click to unlink the video and audio. And then you can delete the original video or audio and drag in another one. To join the unlinked video and audio, you can select them with "Ctrl" and click .

4. Rip FLV Video and Audio

Once you dragged in an FLV from Resource List, or insert an FLV with right-click menu on Timeline, the FLV video and audio are attached together. You can select the right FLV and click . And then, you can move the video and audio separately.

5. Split FLV

You can either drag the pointer to the right point and click to cut, or click while you are real-time playing this video on Timeline at the right time point.

Note: This program only outputs single FLV file. You have to delete the unwanted parts on Timeline.

FLV Export

There are multiple choices for you to output your FLV files. As follow:

1.Export> FLV
Once this option is selected, the FLV files will output to your computer. You can set export folder, export file name and export type (FLV, FLV audio only, and FLV no audio).

2.Export> FLV (to FLV to Video Converter Pro 2)
The converter will be launched with the output file in list simultaneously.

3.Export> FLV (to Media Library)
The file will be placed in the Media Library list of YouTube FLV Downloader.

4.Export SWF:
This program also enables you to export SWF and HTML files for uploading online.

5.Export MP3:
As long as the original audio codec of an FLV file is MP3, you can export the audio as MP3 with this program.
